Massachusetts' agriculture is a small but important part of Massachusetts' economy. In fact, Massachusetts provides about half of the United States' cranberries. These cranberries grow on or near Cape Cod where there is plenty of water to water the plants. Massachusetts also grows greenhouse plants, sweet corn, and apples.
